What we Do?

Fly Fishing in Hawaii! We promote fly fishing, fly fishermen, fishermen and expert guides in Hawaii. We can help you find the right guide for your next fishing adventure on Maui, Hawaii and Oahu. Hawaii is the name of our state, but it is also the name of the largest Island in our island chain. Hawaii island is also known as the Big Island. Guides that work with us are experts in locating and helping anglers increase their chances of catching fish in Hawaii. The fish we target are the following in order of significance:

Oio in Hawaiian is known by most as Bonefish or by its scientific name Albula vulpes. The waters in Hawaii are teaming with these elusive, giant, Hawaiian bonefish. They feed on the sandy shallow flats around the islands giving us anglers an opportunity to sight fish for them. We have seen giant bonefish, that are so big that you wouldn’t even believe us if we told you. Luie the fish picked up a 18lb bonefish from Hickam Flats, and Dean picked up a 28lb bonefish while dunking off Bamboo ridge on Oahu using a piece of squid. The bonefish here average around 7lbs. The guide will put you on fish or give you the knowlege to catch these fish on your own.

Paopao (Golden Trevally or Gnathanodon speciosus) are an extremely rare fish to catch, yet we provide the opportunity to catch these on the flats in Hawaii. Theses Goldens feed in the shallow sandy bottoms; the same as the bonefish, and when they do, we have the opportunity to hook them on the fly or by rod and reel. Most times, these fish are in the deeper waters, feeding on crab, mantis shrimp and other crustaceans and food sources they can find. If you do catch one of these fish, you are on a short list of individuals who have accomplished this challenge.

We have teamed up with fly fishing captains to bring you the most knowledgeable guide no matter where you are fishing.

Our website serves as a resource for all your fly fishing questions in Hawaii-FAQ, stories, tips, videos and portal to book tours. We hope you enjoy some of the stories presented on our blog post, and hope it unlocks some of the secrets of bone fishing. We also created a series of videos on youtube to help the novice fly fisher get started in this highly addicting hobby. You may also follow us on facebook and instagram.
